Hey! You guys really need to hit up the new Bowinkles at the East End Plaza (by CAMC General). Excellent hotdogs. Boars head meats and nice sides... A little on the slow side sometimes, but worth the wait.

  2. Since we are recommending future locations, have you guys tried the dogs at "The Grill" on the west side down the street from Chris's? I eat the dogs there occasionally when I try to go to Chris's but forget that its closed on mondays.

The Grill is a great place with superb atmosphere, and they aren't going to live up to the dogs down the street, but they are a solid 4 weenie joint in my opinion. Plus its a family run place!

  3. I hit up the grill again today to pre-scout for you... yeah, thats my excuse. I don't think the Slaw will be fine enough for you guys, nor the chili spicy enough. It ain't chris's but it ain't bad.

  4. Tom, we've been there and done that. See The Grill review here:

You are correct, it's not to our liking. There are two better hot dogs on the same block.

  5. I'll agree with that. I still end up at the place when I forget Chris's isn't open on mondays.

  6. Read your review. The dogs at the grill have improved considerably since then. They now steam their buns, but their slaw is still pretty coarse.

Keep up the good work guys!
