The aroma of the fresh, homemade chili and steamed buns permeates the air just before you walk through the door. It beckons you to come in, take a load off, and enjoy some friendly conversation over the most satisfying West Virginia Hot Dogs around. Like magic, Haught's freshly made slaw has a blend that can seemingly do no wrong whether it is combined with the mild, medium, of hot variations of chili.
I'm always pleasantly surprised by the fact that no matter how busy it gets inside Haught's, there seems to be no shortage of time for the owners to make for a pleasant "hello" and "how do you do" with each and every customer that comes through the door. Service like this can't be bought these days.
A hearty congratulations to Haught Diggity Dogz for giving us THE Best Monongalia County Hot Dog! Here's too many more great years of success and fantastic hot dogs.
What a cool name for a hdj.
ReplyDeleteHi Chris. I just wanted to let you know that we featured your hot dog blog on My Z last Friday night.
ReplyDeleteGood work!
Um, yeah Chris, nice blog you have here.
ReplyDeleteJessica, you have no idea of how much you have made his day, week and year.
Crap.
ReplyDeleteI usually watch My Z news Mon-Thurs (you guys have hit the nail on the head with the half-hour 10 PM newscast), but Friday being poker night and all, I'm usually still slow-playing pocket kings by the time you guys are on the air.
I haven't been this dissapointed about missing something on TV in the name of debauchery since I went on a beer run during the Janet Jackson/Justin Timberlake halftime show.
Note to Stanton: Bet your bippy that the Union will bring this up at contract time.
Wow, Chris. I guess that promotion up from second-in-charge of the assistant to the regional vice-manager finally went through. Way to go!
ReplyDeleteWe posted a link to it on the My Z main page. Apparently, people love the hot dogs. I'm a fan of Stewart's.
ReplyDeleteHmm, Stewart's....
ReplyDeleteThe next time you work out of Huntington, get one of the interns/ jr. producers to run over to M & M Dairy Bell in Chesapeake or to Knuckle's Sandwich Co. on 11th St.
Or, better yet, those places would make great My Z Double Dollar Deals.
Can you post the address for the Hot Diggity Dogz? Next time I'm in Monongalia Co. I'll get one.
