The Weenie Ranking System
Local restaurants are periodically visited by our
crack team of West Virginia Hot Dog experts (aka "Weenie Wonks") to keep our fans up to date on who
sells the best dogs. Hot Dog Joints (HDJs) are rated on the Weenie Scale (1-5
weenies).
- A Five Weenie HDJ will exhibit the highest level of hot dog quality, atmosphere and service.
- Four Weenies indicate a really good hot dog that has excellent ingredients and is prepared with care and pride.
- Three Weenies are awarded to those hot dogs that have show promise but just miss the mark.
- Two Weenies - These hot dogs need help.
